Evidence-Based Optometry Research Guide

What is evidence-based optometry?

The work you do in Clinical Reasoning makes use of something called evidence-based medicine. Evidence-based medicine (EBM) or evidence-based optometry (EBO) involves using evidence (scientific articles found in resources like PubMed, Scopus and the NECO Library search box) to diagnose and treat a patient. This evidence is then evaluated to determine whether it is relatively free of bias and answers your patient's question.
